Manual Handling Level 2 FAA Award (Ofqual Level 2/SQA Accreditation Level 5) is a distance learning course which incorporates principles and practice, what is manual handling, manual handling injuries and legislation.
Manual Handling Level 2 covers a range of subjects which include:
- Risk assessments
- How to avoid manual handling
- Assessing and reducing the risk of injury
- Good practice
- Using other methods of movement
- The working environment
Please note: Distance Learning Courses are ideal for Business’s or groups of individuals where members of staff need to undertake training , but cannot access practical courses during the working day.
These packages allow staff to attend work and also continue the course, either in their own time or during working hours whilst on site. These are accredited courses and will require our Trainers/Assessors to be available to answer any questions from students that may arise. Regular webinars will also be required to monitor students work. All coursework is provided.
