This one day Emergency First Aid at Work Course is an approved qualification that came into effect on 1st October 2009, along with new guidance on assessing the needs of First Aid in the workplace.

- Assessment of the situation
- Hygiene
- Bleeding control
- Recovery position
- Resuscitation
- Heart attack
- Shock
- Foreign objects
- Angina
- Choking
- Seizures
- Fainting
- Anaphylaxis
- Minor burns and scalds
- Legalities
A minimum of 6 hours consisting of theoretical and practical work.
Students must be 14 and over.
